I will read poetry and have secondthoughts at night.

And so it ended.
Not in war, just
in unsaid agreement
curious how things fade,
but doesn't go back
to the same kind of neutral
as it was before.

Would it
perhaps
be more
simple
if it had ended in bitter disagreement?

But fine, we tied,
agreed.
Came out as equals
equally guilty
or eqaully innocent
just as responsible
for what never
really became reality
neutral equality.
What does it all matter anyway.
